In November 2009 I went to Nicaragua to help an orphanage become more self-sustaining by starting a small farm where the children will learn to grow their own fruits and vegetables. While teaching them to grow food for themselves I hope to teach them all I know of my lifetime experiences with God and help them to develop a close, personal relationship with the God who holds a dear place for them in His heart.

The fields look good.....It is pouring right now..all day so far...we can't even see our street it has flooded up to the sidewalk. And it is freezing.... We have today off, it is MLK Day. We are copying home movies to DVD's... I have been watching 25+ year old movies...Christmas, Easter, mom's birthday, camping.... so funny... I have grama on tape...
